Shotcrete

Shotcreting is a method of applying concrete to various types of surfaces. It is carried out with concrete pumps that feed wet or dry concrete mixture into nozzles. Concrete is sprayed onto selected elements.

This method is used for repair, renovation as well as securing works.

It is often used in geotechnical work, infrastructure development, or new construction. It is used to protect slopes and shoring of preliminary excavations with the possibility of further reinforcement (nailing or anchoring in the ground). Sprayed concrete is also used to repair concrete structures.

Shotcrete can be laid using both wet and dry methods. The choice of method depends on the nature of the implementation and the required parameters. Read more about Technology.
