The remote controlled machines by Brokk are, nowadays, the most technologically advanced devices available for demolition works. The latest generation of the machines includes: Brokk 100, Brokk 160 and Brokk 260. They provide a high level of safety and comfort of work thanks to the fully remote and wireless control. A machine operator can operate the device outside its zone of operation, away from dismantled and crushed elements. In addition, Brokk machines can reduce noise and vibration, due to the use of electric power, light hydraulic hammers and crushing jaws.

Thanks to their small size and weight in the range of 1 - 5 tons (depending on the model), Brokk demolition machines can be used in a confined space where no heavy demolition equipment operate. What is most important, however, is that in confined areas, where previously only people with hand tools could work, Brokk demolition machines can be used and achieve performance comparable to heavy demolition machinery.

Brokk demolition units have excellent coverage compared to their size. Depending on requirements, they can work with different demolition accessories, including light hydraulic hammers and crushing - cutting jaws.

Brokk 100, 160 and 260 machines are designed for different types of demolition works in construction industry, but can also be effectively used in the cement and processing industry.

Brokk 100 is one of the smallest, but also the most technologically advanced demolition machine. This model has been in production since 2012. This latest generation of demolition machines offers 35 percent more power compared to previous machines of the same size. The increase in power was achieved despite a reduction in the weight and height of the machine, making it easy to access, be controlled and work in confined spaces.

Transport height of the machine is 115 cm, and its width is only 78 cm. Weight of Brokk 100 Atlas Copco SB152 hydraulic hammer is 1132 kg.

Crawler chassis allows for freedom of movement over uneven terrain, as well as movement between floors on stairs or by means of a lift.

Atlas Copco SB152, a light demolition hammer, thanks to its relatively small impact force of 254 J/Nm, can be used in areas where special attention is paid to reduction of vibration in the course of demolition works.

Brokk 160 is another model of a demolition machine varying in terms of size and performance. The size and weight of the device is still small, so that it can be used indoors without additional support for floor slabs, unless we are dealing with weakened structures or such support is required by the builder.

Transport height of the machine is 150 cm, and its width, upon removal of caterpillar, is only 78 cm. Weight of Brokk 160 Atlas Copco SB202 hydraulic hammer is 1812 kg.

Atlas Copco SB202, a light demolition hammer with its impact force of 406 J/Nm can be used anywhere, where the emphasis is on rapid progress of demolition works, while reducing vibration. In the case of repairs or partial demolition of selected construction components, before crushing, it is recommended to separate, using a diamond cutting technique, the construction element being removed from structure earmarked for future use. Such a solution allows for the effective reduction of vibration affecting the remaining structure.

Brokk 260 is currently the largest-capacity demolition robot available in Poland and has been designed for special demolition works in places of difficult access. Its excellent handling characteristics and arm length up to 5m enable the machine to carry out the most difficult tasks with efficiency close to the performance of much larger heavy demolition equipment. Brokk 260 demolition machine features high impact force combined with highly precise control and compact size.

Transport height of the machine is 153 cm, and its width is 120 cm. Weight of Brokk 260 Atlas Copco SB302 hydraulic hammer is 3360 kg.

Atlas Copco SB302, a light demolition hammer, with impact force of 610 J/Nm makes it possible to obtain high efficiency of demolition works. In the case of repairs or partial demolition of selected construction components, before crushing with the SB302 hammer, it is recommended to separate, using a diamond cutting technique, the construction element being removed from structure earmarked for future use. Such a solution allows for the effective reduction of vibration affecting the remaining structure.

If you need to completely eliminate vibration and noise in the course of demolition works, Brokk 260 can be equipped with Darda CC520 crushing - cutting jaws. The jaws, although small in size, have advanced parameters - maximum jaw opening is 54 cm, the crushing strength is 48 tons and concrete reinforcement cutting capacity is 28mm in diameter; it allows for removal of most of components found in construction industry.

Diamond cutting and drilling in ferroconcrete, concrete, ceramic and other building materials consists in using special discs, ropes or drills which include highly resistant diamond segments. This technique is currently the most modern and fastest method to make and passages and culverts in walls and ceilings. Is also widely used in selective demolition of building structures, where only a part of the structure is to be removed, while the remaining construction is planned for future use. This method does not involve percussion and is dust-free. Cutting pieces of construction using this technique guarantees that the rest of the support structure will not be weakened, and the surfaces, upon cutting, will be smooth, clean and of even edges. The diamond technique is perfect for cutting holes for installation of windows, doors, air conditioning and ventilation shafts. We take advantage of this technique to carry out modernization and refurbishment works, and while building new objects. The diamond cutting method is also widely used to make any types of grooves.

The technique of diamond drilling in concrete is used to make any kind of cylindrical holes, from small to very large diameters. Drilling using this method is widely used in placing electrical wiring as well as making sanitary, ventilation, air conditioning, heating, telecommunications and gas systems. Diamond drilling is also often used when installing culverts, anchors (bonded, expansion and loop-through ones), columns, railings and while sampling concrete for analysis.

The effectiveness of the diamond techniques resulted in rapid development thereof, which reflected in the abundance of types of devices whose operation is based on the method of diamond cutting or drilling.

Currently, virtually any building material, including ferroconcrete, asphalt, building ceramics, stone and glass, can be treated using diamond techniques.

Demolition of buildings using non-percussion diamond techniques, the following are used: hand-held and stand drills, circular wall and road saws, rope saws, hand saws, etc.

Darda hydraulic wedges are used for non-percussive and explosiveless tearing of materials, where explosives or percussion devices cannot be used.

Drive for Darda wedges is done by hydraulic power units equipped with combustion, electric and pneumatic engines. Up to 5 actuators can be connected simultaneously to Darda hydraulic units.

The effective concrete breaking force while using Darda wedges is 200tons (for C9 model), while in the case of model C12, it is 413 tons.
